A NEW CHALLENGE : FORGING STAINLESS STEEL !
How can steel be stainless ? Put less carbon, add chromium, nickel and some molybdenum. The problem is that this does not help the forging process !
How to forge it ? On the one hand controlling of the heating is critical. On the other hand the required power to forge is higher than for normal steel and tooling will wear quicker ! On top of this over-hardening is necessary just after forging…
Numerical simulation has incredibly helped us. And thanks to our forging process which is already well adapted, we succeeded in launching this new range. We are now fully operational : this opens our possibilities to meet your requirements.
The range of stainless steel is very wide; we will concentrate on the austenitic grades such as 304L (1.4307) and 316L (1.4404).
The company delivers its components to many industry branches and export markets represent 80% of its turnover. Our customers are leading companies who have adapted to the high demand of the market as we do: the best technology in production lines, numerical simulation and automation …

At last …
Our operators have been very patient ! The turning center Index is now able to work alone thanks to its robot and own feeding unit
The main targets for this investment are : providing better working conditions for people, maintaining a stable production rate and reducing costs.
